Everything you need to know before you book
We are planning a wedding, but we don't know where to start. When should we hire a wedding photographer?
You can reach out to me at any stage of planning, even very last-minute. I will help you plan the entire wedding day in detail, with a clear timeline for the photoshoot, taking into account all your wishes. We will choose locations, ideas, and go over all the details. I’m also happy to assist if you only need 2-3 hours of photography on your special day.
A wedding photographer is your guide throughout the wedding day, all the way until you arrive at the celebration location. Therefore, discussing the day’s schedule is an essential step to avoid any stress.
Which package is best for me?
If you are planning a civil ceremony or a short photoshoot at the registry office, at a church or just a small family celebration, you can book the hourly rate or the most budget-friendly combined wedding package.
If you would like me to capture the most important moments of the day, including a beautiful bridal morning, the ceremony or registry office photoshoot, and family pictures, but only need the photographer for 1-2 hours at the restaurant, then the mid-tier package is ideal in terms of price and coverage.
If you are inviting many guests and want to capture all the important moments until the end of the main program, then the premium package is perfect.
No matter which package you choose, we will tailor the plan to suit any duration.
Is a deposit required?
A deposit is a desirable condition for booking the wedding, but it is usually not big (around 200 euros).
Please note that in case of a wedding postponement, the deposit is not lost. If the desired date is already booked (in case of rescheduling your wedding date), or in the case of complete cancellation, I offer you the option to “transform” this amount into a voucher that you can use for a future photoshoot with me.
In any case, the deposit, which is used to secure a specific date, is non-refundable, but it guarantees your 100% booking for that date.
Do I help couples with posing? Can we bring specific photo examples that we would like to recreate?
I always assist couples with posing to ensure the shots are as emotional and interesting as possible. If you don’t want the so-called “static photos,” I can also focus more on documentary-style photography, where you only need to pose with family and close friends.
You are also welcome to bring or show me specific examples of poses or photos (for example, photos with balloons, sparklers, angles, or decor) either before the wedding or during the discussion, and we will gladly create something similar on the wedding day.
What photos will I receive after the wedding and how many?
After the wedding, you and your beloved spouse will receive all the photos with color correction, as well as the best shots with retouching depending on the package. I review every single raw shot and manually adjust all the images.
You can also let me know in advance what kind of retouching you would prefer: very natural or a bit more “glamorous,” so that I know the result you would like to achieve.
All the images will be delivered to you through a link, which will remain active until you download everything. Additionally, the photos will be provided on a USB stick in a beautiful wooden box, along with printed images.
What additional options can be booked in addition to the photoshoot?
Many couples who I have photographed for their weddings later became my regular clients. It is a great honor and joy for me to create beautiful images for them and preserve precious memories.
In addition to the wedding photoshoot, you can also book a session before or after the wedding (Love Story or After-Wedding). A great addition to the wedding photoshoot is a photo book, which you can view in the dedicated section about photo books. Additionally, each wedding package includes a photo box for your wedding USB stick and beautiful printed photos.
Will my wedding photos be published on the website or social media?
I adhere to the policy that every wedding and every photograph is not only my “creation” but also the property of the person depicted in it.
If you or your spouse do not want your photos to appear on my website, in my portfolio, on Instagram, or any other social media, and prefer them to belong only to you, I will fully respect your decision and will not publish the photos.
Numerous images are never published on my website or social media, but I always discuss this with each couple individually. You can be assured of the confidentiality of your celebration.
How does the payment work?
There are several payment options:
Payment with a deposit before the wedding, with the remaining balance due on the wedding day or a few days after the wedding to the bank account.
Full payment of the wedding by invoice before the wedding day. If additional services are required (e.g., photo book order, extra shooting hours), this can be paid after the wedding.
Payment in cash according to the invoice on the wedding day.
In any case, each wedding is discussed based on the offer, and it clearly outlines the total amount to be paid. You can pay for the photoshoot in any convenient way.
Do you work only in Germany, or do you also shoot weddings abroad?
I am more than happy to travel and shoot weddings abroad. Weddings outside of Germany or in other cities do involve certain expenses, such as transportation costs (tickets, fuel, parking), accommodation, and a small amount for meals.
Transportation costs within a 70 km radius of Düsseldorf are always included in the price. If my travel distance and time are longer, transportation expenses and possible overnight stays will be discussed separately.

How to choose your best option?
PERFECT SIZE
What is the best photobook: big or small? The most common sizes are 23 x 23 cm or bigger sister: 30 x 30 cm. Usually a 15 double-pages option is included in the wedding package
COVER METTERS
All the books come with different covers: photocover, faux-leather, acryl glass, etching etc. You can choose from different colors of leather or simply use the best photo you like.
CHOOSING IMAGES
Mostly, books have chronological order, to make your special day a wonderful experience. Usually, you might choose between 50 up till 90 images for the book. Best 5 are going to be on double-side page 🙂
LASTING QUALITY
Yes, photobooks are sometimes pricy, but they last a long time. My first books, which I created more then 12 years ago, are still bringing joy to their owners: their family and kids can still enjoy the images, even today.
